I have known Jim for most of my life and throughout that time, he has been a father figure to me. I wanted to name this race after him to pay tribute to what Jim has done for the sport of drag racing and for what he has meant to me. I want to thank Tracey Harrington for giving us her blessing to rename the race after Jimmy. We are proud to now call this race...
